12:44 pm - mondays SUCK
once again another weekend has come and gone and what do i have to show for it?? nothing.... well... nothing really. actually, i take that back. saturday we actually went to go see a movie, V for vendetta. it was actually pretty good AND we saw the last showing.  yup, that's right... i actually agreed to leaving the house past 9:30pm! ha! i'm such an old lady.... although, i must say that i really was NOT happy at the theater. so many damn annoying kids but whatever...  and the seats were not very comfy. talk about no leg room! i'm pretty short and for me to say that i didn't have enough leg room... well... that must be pretty damn narrow. we were at a century so its not like the lovely stadium seating at amc.
but anyways, on sunday i took kaiya for her doggy date with dusty at montara beach. i wish i had a camera.  oh man did she love the water. she went out for a swim a few times which was great because she was pretty knocked out for the rest of the day.
i have a new favorite pizza place in mt. view now... tony & alba's well.. it was pretty good. we had the a la gilroy pizza mmm... jalapenos, garlic, and beef... mmm.. what's not to love?? i think i still prefer roma's maria's special, but this is still a close second. much much MUCH better than pizza hut's cheezy bites whatever we had.... ugh... that was such a disappointment!

and i have no plans for trick or treating... boo... no candy, but hopefully plans for dinner work out. hahahaha sushi here we come... mmm....
anyways... did i mention that i am now the proud owner of a singer sewing machine???  i can't wait to use it. but that'll have to be after the trip...

04:33 pm - moving sucks....
its so tiring... and i hate having to try to figure out where to put what in the new place. okay... well maybe i don't hate it because in fact i think i like it. i think what i hate is how you end up having to spend so much money to buy the cool storage containers and shelves and whatnots just so everything can have its own little place. i miss our old place. i know i didn't really like it at first, but i think as soon as we move into a new place i find all the things i liked about the old place. but don't get me wrong, its not that i don't like the new place at all... i just miss all the storage we had, the in unit washer and dryer, the quietness, and the fact that kaiya went poop at the park across the street.
the new place is nice too. its finally our own place. well... technically its rey's, kaiya & i just come over. i realized i have a lot of stuff... the day i truly move out of my parents house will be a nightmare. a lot of purging and sorting will have to take place because i definately do not want to have to pack then unpack all the things i have managed to accumulate through the years. anyways, the new place is really spacious... the only thing is that there aren't as many drawers as the old place, but there are a ton of cabinets in the kitchen. hahahaha i think there's like 20 cabinets, but only 2 drawers. hahahahaha....
we made our first purchases - utensils, can opener, microwave (apt didn't come with one), brita, and we still need to buy furniture. its kinda fun :)
only 1 more day till vacation!! woohoo!! where's my passport?? oh whew... found it.. hahaha rey would kill me if i lost it =P

06:32 pm - I DID IT I DID IT!!
woohoo... so i finished the half marathon hooray! although, i didn't run the whole thing :\ i had to walk a little bit of it. i think in total i walked less than a mile. AND i reached my goal... i did it faster than my projected pace AND i beat my sister heehee... even though it was by 4 minutes. i must say that i'm very proud of her. she is such a crack head... thinking that she couldn't finish it but that little girl... man... she only trained i think 1 week if that at all and she managed to finish in just a bit over 2.5 hours. that's just amazing in my eyes. i knew she could do it all along. me on the other hand i had to train since like august. althought it was only running twice a week, but still... i trained a lot more than she did, but hey... i managed to win a $100 gift card from nike from it so that's okay ;) in addition to meeting some nice folks and actually getting to see sights in sf that i never knew existed :)
but anyways... i'm glad its done. hopefully i'll keep up with running, but my knees are killing me. now i just have to concentrate on moving next week, and then packing for the philippines... i'm excited :)

10:07 am - *SIGH* back to work...
this is the one thing i hate about 3-day weekends... its so hard to get out of bed and go back to work on tuesday. i mean i spent the weekend pretty much just cleaning my room. nothing special. no trip to anywhere... just ikea, big lots, target, macy's... well... we did go to a wedding shower  and i won a prize woohoo... we won the name word game. but other than that it was clean clean clean...
i took out a whole bunch of crap out of my room, but... it doesn't really look like i made a dent. i really need to somehow get rid of everything. but it doesn't help that my mom keeps wanting to keep all the stuff i want to get rid of.... i have till july 21st. yikes!! ... maybe i should take a before and after picture ugh... still have more to move to mountain view. so far i've just taken 1 shoe rack and all my pumas.... we need to rearrange our room.... and i need to get rid of shoes i no longer wear 
**ooh... and last nite, we got to see fireworks from our balcony. sweet... this year we got to see it and we didn't even plan on it, not like last year... sorry angefasu**

09:36 am - hooray!! its FRIDAY!!
and finally... a long weekend. and a LONG weekend it will be. what do i have planned? uh... cleaning, cleaning, and MORE cleaning. i've got about 2 weekends before the uncles come into town.
**MAN! my jaws are tired from chewing this croissant! hahahhah i know... out of nowhere, but i just thought i'd share that while i update **
so yesterday i got my order in from petguys. of course, more toys for kaiya and some bunny stuff. i couldn't resist. they've got hay for CHEAP only $2.99 as opposed to the $6.99 my mom bought it for at petco. shipping for the ENTIRE order was even cheaper than that. well anyways, so i thought i'd share the life of kaiya's squeaky moose. mind you, this toy lasted maybe... 5 minutes because i was bothering her with all the flash photography
i'm just really enjoying this flickr thing
HA! and as for that run i was contemplating about doing to the dog park. that didn't happen. surprise surprise... rey went out so i had to drive anyhow. hahahaaha....

02:10 pm - to go... or not to go... that seems to always be the question
every morning i wake up and ask myself... should i go to the gym?
and my usual answer is... 5 more minutes...
and of course, 5 more minutes ends up being an hour and a half and by then... its time to get up and get ready for work.
this week i was supposed to at least try to make it to the gym at least twice. its already what, WEDNESDAY, and how many times have i gone?? NONE, zero, zilch. HA! what a motivator this half marathon has turned out to be. i think it's mainly the fact that i know i can't die from it. with the triathalon i was terrified i'd drown from the swim so i made sure i went out and swam. but, like i said, i don't see how i could die from running. i mean, granted i could suffer from some strange, massive heart attack, or get stung by a bee, or get hit by a car, or SOMETHING but odds are... i'll live, especially since i'm not allergic to bees or so i think. hahahhaha i haven't sit still long enough for a bee to come close. well at least i've made up my mind to join the sfclub or whatever they're called every saturday morning at 8am for a run. last week, um... well... let's just say i showed up, but didn't run heeehee....
maybe i'll make it to the gym tonite... or maybe tomorrow morning...

11:20 am - damn i feel old
so i went to the movies last nite and TRIED to watch batman begins. TRIED being the operative word. we were sitting in the 2nd to the last row which apparently is a big mistake because behind us were a bunch of annoying ass LOUD kids. i have no idea how old they were, i'm assuming teens, but that's not important. throughout the movie they kept talking and talking and TALKING... getting up, walking out walking back in, and KICKING THE BACKS OF OUR SEATS....
i HATE HATE, with a passion a deep DEEP passion, when the back of my seat gets kicked. i swear i was thinking really REALLY bad thoughts, but... i have to stay on my best behavior for the next couple years dammit. yah, me, the super anti-confrontationist, wanted so badly to do something, ANYTHING to make those damn kids shut up and sit down.
rey, i think, was more agitated by them because he actually paid attention to their conversation. apparently, this couple was fighting or something and the guy was telling his buddy all about it. phil got fed up, got up and moved to another seat. rey figured it wasn't worth saying anything because he didn't want to miss the movie or cause a scene ruining someone else's viewing pleasure or whatever you call it.
but thank JESUS the stupid kids finally got up and left a little after phil left. we got to watch the second half of the movie in peace. well... except for the fact that i had feet next to me. the chick that was sitting 1 seat over decided to use phil's seat as a foot rest. GROSS!!

05:17 pm - damn... MONDAY... again??
i woke up this morning thinking... hhhmmm... can i call in sick? hahahaah not a good way to start off the work week. nope, not a good way at all. none the less i still dragged my lazy bum out of bed and was actually very productive here at work. or so i think.... i managed to do more research and actually read all the articles i found. HOORAY. but for some reason i don't feel like i'm really sure about what it is i'm exactly supposed to do.... is that bad?? um.... maybe
i've been extended another week. originally i was supposed to be outta here june 30th, but since my boss is going on vacation i'm going to cover her till july 8th. hooray... i can pay for my spending sprees. hahahaha... tell me... why did i buy stuff again?? but at least it was only $20 and all pet stuff. i got bunny stuff and doggie toys.... speaking of which... all this talk of pit bull maulings and bans is making me uneasy. for some reason i can't shake this pang in the pit of my stomach that for some reason they're gonna take kaiya away. who's they?? i dunno... i just feel like something's gonna happen and she's gonna be gone. but i dunno why i'm worrying....
1. i'm not sure if she even is a pit mix
2. she's not aggressive... i mean she barks at people, but she's too chicken to do anything about it
i'm still waiting to hear back from bad rap to see if we're enrolled in their next dog class session...

11:27 am - why is it i never stick to what i'm supposed to do...
i was SUPPOSED to go to the gym
i was SUPPOSED to work on my resume
i was SUPPOSED to catch up on some reading
i was SUPPOSED to bake brownies
i was SUPPOSED to clean the bathroom
what did i do?? um.... we went to the dog park. we went to the grocery store. we bought beer. heehee... um... everything else on my list still needs to be done. oh well... i'm still sore from tuesday.... next week... i'll go at least twice to the gym....
for some odd reason kaiya decided to play with chester (the aussie)... heehee... i sure am loving this flikr thing. heehee... oooo.... slide show instead of posting each individual pic. hahahahah i love it. sure am glad we got rey a digi cam for his b'day last year. hahahaha... but i think i'm using it more than him ;) but hey... at least its getting used.

12:10 pm - another day... another dollar....
weekends are too short. boo. its monday again and i didn't even accomplish half the things i intended, i think... but it was, i suppose, a packed weekend.
friday :: cooked for a few folks...
saturday:: picked up a guava chiffon cake from aki's bakery; went home to sf; drove parentals to fairfield (or should i say REY drove...) me=passenger ; and finally saw star wars... yep... i stayed awake for the very last showing of the night 11:20pm
sunday:: went to the animal planet expo @ the presidio...
 
um... kaiya... well... she wasn't all too happy to be there i think it was more an event for kids. oh well... we stayed for about 10 minutes. heehee... thankfully i licensed her finally since animal control was there

let's... GO!!!
she was much happier in the car...
 
then off to dinner for my pops... mmm... sushi... funny... after about 10 minutes or so of where do we eat where do we eat.... we end up where my dad first said... sushi... hahahahaha... yah.. it was my mom's fault. it's father's day... HIS turn to pick...

01:02 pm - i take that back...
current bug bite count = EIGHT!
and WHERE do you ask did i find this last buy bite?? um... on my right EYELID!!! yes... that's right, my freaking eyelid. now, not only must i suffer the constant urge to scratch, but i have a POOFY EYE now
i didn't realize it was there until late yesterday afternoon. i started wondering why my right eye felt kinda droopy or heavy and while i was washing my hands in the BATHROOM (yes, i unlike OTHER people... WASH my hands after relieving myself) i notice my POOFY EYE.... so of course... i run over to rey's desk and start pouting and pointing to my eye. he didn't even notice... it was smaller then, but now, it's pretty damn noticable.
anyways, last nite i met up with a few friends i haven't seen in a while. mmm... dinner at celia's. i finally satisfied my nachos cravings. that thing was HUGE, ENORMOUS, GIGANTE even. hahahaha... i think i barely even ate half of it. but it was great. remeniscing (sp?) about well... hahahahah my sweeping adventures, new and upcoming events at work, and hahahaha... i love how my friend's mom just up and moved to mexico. hahahaha yes. mind you... she speaks ZERO spanish. hahahahaha... funny.... but anyways... it was great to see them all again and something we should do more often

09:29 am - stupid bugs....
so i once again got eaten alive by some sort of bug. i count 7 bites total
:: 2 on my left foot
:: 1 on my left calf
:: 1 on my left thigh
:: 1 on my left wrist
:: 1 on my right foot
:: 1 on my right thigh
i guess i never learn. i know i got the bites on my feet at the dog park for sure because i was a winner and wore flip flops and while we were there my feet were itchy.... surprise surprise... and i'm thinking the ones on my arm and legs prolly came from the following morning when i took kaiya out because i didn't start to get itchy until i got to work. sheesh.... rey got bites too, but only on his legs.... and i'm thinking he got those from taking kaiya out too because he was wearing shorts and a long sleeved shirt. damn....  do we have to start taking her out while holding a damn citronella candle or something??? or does that bounce sheet kept in your back pocket really work.... hhhmm... i think i'll have to try that....
oh, and so woohoo... we've decided we are going to the philippines this year... hooray for bonus checks!! hahahahaa as if i was the one who got one... *UGH* SO ITCHY!! hooray for rey... i guess i should find me a permanent job so i can get nice perks like that! but we haven't figured out when because i think i'm going to do the nike half marathon on 10/23 so.... we have to plan around that. woohoo... something to train for... i've gotten so fat and lazy since i have nothing to work towards....
