06:32 pm - I DID IT I DID IT!! woohoo... so i finished the half marathon hooray! although, i didn't run the whole thing :\ i had to walk a little bit of it. i think in total i walked less than a mile. AND i reached my goal... i did it faster than my projected pace AND i beat my sister heehee... even though it was by 4 minutes. i must say that i'm very proud of her. she is such a crack head... thinking that she couldn't finish it but that little girl... man... she only trained i think 1 week if that at all and she managed to finish in just a bit over 2.5 hours. that's just amazing in my eyes. i knew she could do it all along. me on the other hand i had to train since like august. althought it was only running twice a week, but still... i trained a lot more than she did, but hey... i managed to win a $100 gift card from nike from it so that's okay ;) in addition to meeting some nice folks and actually getting to see sights in sf that i never knew existed :) but anyways... i'm glad its done. hopefully i'll keep up with running, but my knees are killing me. now i just have to concentrate on moving next week, and then packing for the philippines... i'm excited :) congratulations to angefasu and did you still do it missmags? even tho i didn't see you guys... man there were a lot of people!
